THE MISSION
The founders of Cat 5 Care are members of the *U.S. Air Force Reserve “Hurricane Hunters.” The purpose of this organization is to provide a platform and way to support those who were affected by these natural disasters well beyond the end of the forecast.

Jennie & Davis
After both serving 5 years in the Air Force, Jennie and Davis landed their dream jobs: flying through hurricanes for research with the Hurricane Hunters. During the off-season, they started Samara Table Company LLC, where they build and sell furniture that brings people together. MARK SUDDUTH
Mark has studied the impacts of tropical cyclones when they make landfall for the better part of the past 30 years.
His work to develop remote sensing techniques using video, combined with meteorological data, has led to a better understanding of what happens when tropical cyclones impact land areas.
Mark’s work has been utilized by Federal, state, and local officials as well as numerous fortune 500 companies and major television networks to help spread awareness.
The ongoing project is funded almost entirely through crowdfunding via Patreon.


Garrett Black
Garrett graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Atmospheric Sciences. He has over 8 years of military experience to include flying with the 53d Weather Reconnaissance Squadron “Hurricane Hunters.” Garrett also works in the aviation community as an aircraft analyst.
